Founded in 2021, Adept Logistics was born out of a passion for logistics and a desire to provide better solutions for businesses.

Nicholas Thornton is the founder of Adept Logistics LLC, an Information and Technology firm that navigates companies across North America with their SAP and IT needs. Nicholas’s goal is to drive change that is aligned with the ever-changing market.
Nicholas knows that no single approach is the right one for every business, so he takes the experience that comes from 22 years of Military Experience, and experience that was always taught and that is to always adapt and overcome all obstacles. Nicholas has taken this mindset and has applied it to Adept Logistics, and molds that into a functional form that is adaptable to your organizational needs.
Mr. Thornton has completed a B.A.S. In Management through the University of Wayland Baptist and has a SAP Certification in Integrated Business Process in SAP S/4 HANA from SAP.
With a robust foundation of 24 years as a Logistician in the United States Army, Chad Ellison brings unparalleled expertise to his role as the CEO of Adept Logistics. Throughout his distinguished military career, Chad was instrumental in implementing strategic logistic solutions, significantly saving the U.S. Army millions of dollars through efficient and innovative practices.
At Adept Logistics, Chad applies this wealth of experience to steer the company towards new heights in logistic efficiency and customer satisfaction. His leadership is defined by a deep understanding of the intricacies of logistics and a relentless pursuit of excellence. Chad's vision for Adept Logistics is not just to be a leader in the logistics sector, but to redefine it by introducing cutting-edge solutions that meet the evolving needs of a dynamic world.
With an extensive background in Logistics, fleet maintenance, logistical operations, materials management, warehouse management, plant management, training development and instruction as a 20yr federal employee, I strive for innovative approaches that support SAP implementation projects for various clients. Having Directed companies of over 200 personnel, controlled assets and equipment valued over $500M, and conducted operations across multiple countries while using SAP systems, my goal at Adept Logistics is to push innovations and technological growth while staying on the leading-edge of current technologies.
